Flipp
Millions of people use Flipp, a digital marketplace that has completely changed the way people organize their weekly shopping excursions. Customers can now choose what to buy in North America by using filters like price, proximity, and other factors.
Since Flipp purchased Reebee in 2022, the Channel Experience team has been striving to improve the functionality and combine similar functions in both apps under Flipp's design. The team is using Java, Kotlin, MVVM, MVP, and Gradle to create a clone of Flipp's app, reusing and modifying the existing code, and adding Reebee's design.
Feeld
Feeld is a global community and inclusive dating app that allows couples and individuals to explore their interests and make meaningful connections.
The frontend team got to work on the Feeld mobile app's chat refactor. That chat was created using the Stream Chat API and infrastructure, as well as our logic for handling and filtering the Chat API payload and our React Native components for displaying it in the user interface.
But after talking with the Stream team and weighing the advantages and disadvantages, we came to the conclusion that we could use their Stream Chat React Native SDK, which has fully customizable components, to implement a number of functionalities that would enhance app performance and save time. We have already integrated that SDK and redesigned the Chat, and users in the store may now benefit from that upgrade.
Resortpass
A website called ResortPass makes it simple for customers to reserve hotel day tickets for amenities like workrooms, cabanas, and pools. This travel app is designed for resort enthusiasts who like to use the facilities without reserving a room for the night.
With five engineers spread across their frontend (React & Flutter), backend (Node.JS & Ruby on Rails), and QA teams, we now offer them our Staff Augmentation services. They also receive assistance in migrating the database from Heroku to AWS and the frontend to React. Most recently, we implemented DevOps techniques to enable platform scalability.
MyFieldAudits
Using a smartphone app, MyFieldAudits, a digital on-site inspection tool used in care institutions, assists users in completing field audits.
Our special challenge was to replace their old system entirely with a new optimized application that included a backend, a web frontend, a back office, and two mobile applications. We also had to do an ETL analysis of the corresponding data and migrate user data and statistical data to the new system without affecting end-user services. We accomplished this by assigning a team lead to oversee a group of four developers.
